2009 - 2010 has been a very successful year for Blue Dog Training with large increases in the number of carpentry apprentices and the introduction of engineering. Now with over 1300 apprentices to choose from the trainers and Directors of Blue Dog Training had a great deal of difficulty coming up with one nomination for the State Training Awards in the category of Apprentice of the Year. The simple solution was to nominate a number of apprentices who could represent the high quality standards that Blue Dog encourages in all of their apprentices.
I want and need a Blue Card to work on construction sites in Queensland. How come I have successfully completed the course and the Card arrives and it is WHITE? Is that alright?
The National White Card is being rolled out in Australia. In Queensland, as of the 1st of July 2009, the OH&S Construction Safety Induction Blue Card was replaced with the OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card. The purpose of the change is to bring all Australian states and territories together and have one nationally recognised construction safety induction card, the White Card. The White Card is legally required on all construction sites throughout Queensland and all other Australian states and territories for all people wishing to enter a construction site. While the White Card is a national card, each state will be issuing their own White Cards. The date that each state is cutting over to the White Card from their previous cards varies.
For example, Queensland cut over to the White Card on the 1st of July 2009, Western Australia and New South Wales cut over to the White Card on the 1st of September. The old QLD Blue Card, WA Blue Card are still recognised and are valid cards, but the NSW Green Cards are no longer valid. The old Victorian Red Cards are not recognised in all states. SA has had the White Card for some time.
Blue Dog Training is licensed by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland to deliver the course CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry which results in the issue of a White Card to successful participants. We are authorised to issue Queensland White Cards, WA White Cards and Tasmanian White Cards.
Blue Dog Training has been delivering high quality on line training for a number of years and the new White Card Course is no exception. The same high quality graphics, videos and voice overs make the course interesting and easy to understand. The same rigorous assessment techniques are employed to ensure that all participants achieve 100% accuracy before being deemed competent and receiving their White Card and Statement of Attainment.
If you need a White Card / Safety Card and have access to the internet do your course on line like thousands of others before you. The Blue Card may now be the White Card but Blue Dog Training's true colours shine through by being as efficient and high quality as ever. You will recognise great customer service no matter what the colour.
